Commercial Description:
A true bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic. Saint Arnold Summer Pils is best consumed at 36° Fahrenheit

bottle. Label says Summer Pils-this is a high density pils the way it should be made. Heavy malts and flavor that goes down well on a typical 95F Texas summer day. Well done.

Thanks to Robanion for this one! Gorgeous beer that pours a tall column of medium yellow with a full head of white. Fine streams of tiny bubbles play on their way to the surface. Faint hop aroma lead to a lightly sweet flavor. Light, watery, softly carbonated yet gassy all are things I expect in this type of beer. No off flavors in what I believe is an all malt Pils. Not enough bitterness or hop aroma to call this a Boh Pils in my book, but I just finished mowing the lawn and this was a refreshing, quaffable beer. Better than all the Macros.

Recieved in a trade with Kevin. Slightly hazy gold body with a large white head. The aroma is raw carrots and celery. There is also a little bit of black pepper. The taste is bread with cooked carrots and some cooked celery. This also a has a tangy finish of apple core.

Bottle. This is an American Wheat, not a pilsner. Ok, now that I have that off of my chest...Straw pour with minimal head. Look sexactly like a Budweiser. Good wheaty/yeasty/doughy flavor with a clean dry finish. Not bad. I could drink this in mass quantity if I had to.

Bottle. Pour medium golden color with some head and a little lacing. Nose of malt and a llittle corn. Smooth but thin malt flavor with a spicy/earthy bitterness and hop flavor. Easy drinking.

no real affect on my palate and no real greatness to this one. add it up the category with the other mediocre beers that try to be passed off as somehow "different" yet all seem to have no redeeming taste value. I could have had almost any other cheap american beer and not really have told you any discerning thing as to what I was drinking
