12oz bottle served in Spiegelau Pilsner Glass. The aroma is delicate, spicy and herbal with a cracker-like malt backing. A seemingly clean fermentation. Straw colored, brilliant clarity, smallish bone white colored head that dies down after a minute or two. Sweet bready and cracker malt balanced with a delicate spicy and floral hop character. The balanced character persists into the finish, although there is a touch too much residual sweetness. This is so much more balanced and approachable than the Hans Pils I had before(German Pils vs. BoPils) and this was the beer I preferred while lounging in the pool under the hot Texas sun. This is a nice BoPils. Rating to style.

Tap at the Ginger Man, Heuston, 21/05/13.
Clear pale blonde with a thin white head.
Nose is grain, cereals, light citrus, pale malt.
Taste comprises sugars, grass, lemon, pale malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonaiton, crisp finish.
An adequate if uninspiring pils, refreshing on a hot Texan day!

This is a very mild session beer. Maybe a bit too mild as there is a noticeable lack of body, being somewhat watery. Grainy and sweet, but otherwise decent. Courtesy of Ike and Amandine.

From bottle. Pours medium gold with some white head and mild lacing. Mildly skunky nose. Not bad for a pilsner, but a little doughy for me.

Draft: golden / yellow, little to no carbonation, lacking any head. Aroma is herbal, sweet, malty. Taste lacks hops but still a nice brew. Food Pairing: Calamari.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 pilgrimoutlaw (508) - Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 19, 2012
On tap at the Ranch. Pours clear pale yellow with thin white head. Grass, floral aromas. Unpleasant metallic aftertaste I’ve noticed in other beers from Texas. Mildly sweet. Moderately bitter. Crisp, light body. Better than I expected.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 monk191 (394) - California, USA - JUL 5, 2012
A decent pilsner, but below average beer. Pours pee yellow. Smell is nice, a little fruity. Taste is pilsner, nothing special. Had on tap in the airport.
