Commercial Description:
A true bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic. Saint Arnold Summer Pils is best consumed at 36° Fahrenheit

Pours pale gold with a thin head that disappears pretty quickly. Lots or carbonation, bubbling throughout. Taste has a nice bitterness then goes down smooth. Great summer drinking.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Thanks man! Light gold color with a frothy white head. Aromas of grain and grass. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is lots of grass over pale malt. Crisp. Tasty. Better than most pilsners. Let alone pilseners. Not a German thing. Bohemian. Really good, considering it’s a lager!

Woody taste. Slightly above-average pilsner. Golden color, small head. Thirst-quenching, a good summer beer.

Decent pils, not my favorite but a good brew. I'm justified in buying it becaue I get to supprot the little local guys. Slightly floral, not extremely bitter, light, not good if too warm. I agreee with Andrew196: as soon as it warms a little it sucks.

This year’s batch seemed to yield a quite hoppy version when compared to the past few Summer Pils offerings. I am not an avid or frequent pilsner consumer, but this desrves some attention for fans of the style. Start is sweet. The malt balance kicks in midway by taming the degree of hop bitterness to produce a smooth finish.

Pours yellow, with a white head. Aromas are hops and fruit. Flavors are hops and grain. Like others have said, it’s a little too sweet. Thanks to my secret santa for this one.

In the bottle at the Huber Haus IPA beer tasting. A bonus beer from Bill Baburek! Gold in color with a white head that dies quickly. Fizziness is slight. Has decent lacing. A sweetness to the aroma. Not a bad beer. Has a good clean palate. Great finish of a malty tartness. Surprisingly good beer indeed.

A decent pilsner. Not as much grass and dryness as I’ve come to expect from a Pils, but thats niether here nor there. It looked like a pilsner with its deep gold color, no head head and heavy carbonation. It had almost 0 smell at all. The flavor was good and there was a little of a bite to this, maybe sour even.
