Cereal and wheat malt on the nose. Light citrus - lemon, orange, and a touch of grass. Pours pale yellow, unfiltered with a thin fizzy short lived head. The flavor is wheaty cereal notes combined with light lemon, and a sweet, crisp lightly grassy finish. Lively carbonation lends a thirst quenching aspect to this one. Light, easy to drink, pleasant.

12oz bottle. Pours a moderately hazed, pale straw-orange colored body with a thin, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is grainy wheats with a light, pale sweetness. Just a touch of citrus-grass. Flavor is similar. A light grass throughout with a hint of orange-citrus. Grainy wheats and lightly sweetened pale malts to balance. Finishes dry and fairly crisp with a very light bitterness before leaving a shorter aftertaste. Light body and refreshing with a moderately fizzy, refreshing carbonation. Overall, a pretty bland wheat beer. It has a light wheat and grassy hop, but really not much is going on here. Not terrible, but far from remarkable.

weihenweizen (1165) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - FEB 24, 2011
Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours a cloudy yellow, with small white head that dissapates quickly. Some lacing, medium carbonation, and light wheat aroma. Taste is sour wheat with just a hint of lemon. Not that great for the style.

Straw yellow with a thin white head. Floral, fruity aroma with orange and lemon. Light lemon flavor with a very dull wheat tang. Palate is thin and overcarbonated. Not a huge fan of wheat ales. I suppose this is about average for the style.

Not very impressed with this beer. Expected more wheat taste.

"Texas Wheat" labeled bottle. Some fruit and citrus, sweet malt, light hefe wheat character. Below average wheat beer in my opinion.

Active, very light body with a bubbly white head. Rescinds quickly. No lacing. Nothing really special from the smell. Almost like a hefe, but more subtle. I thought this was going to be a hefeweizen from the pour and smell, however, it tastes more like Miller Light to me. Albeit the best Miller Light ever.

8 oz. sample on tap at the brewery - Out of the three beers I sampled that day and their Lawnmower beer, this is the least of my favorites. Every thing about this one was average. I Color was cloudy like a wheat but the aroma and taste was weak. Still beats the massive produced suppliers. Sorry guys but I really enjoyed the tour and see my higher S.A. ratings.

Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This wheat beer pours a slightly hazy light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, cereal and citrusy. A light to medium bodied wheat beer. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral. Decent carbonation. Light and refreshing, crisp and clean. A good lawnmower beer. Finishes a touch sweet. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Mora2000 (4042) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 22, 2010
Sampled at the brewery. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is about what you would expect, with a lot of wheat as well as some lemony and orange notes. The flavor is a lot of wheat with some lemon. Not very complex, but fairly refreshing. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
