HogTownHarry (3361), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Nov 17, 2008 Bottle (341ml). Shared by blankboy with me and garthicus. Cloudy pinkish-amber pour with a solid beige creamy head. Dry, tart aroma of generic not-quite-ripe berry fruit and dry yeast. The taste was equal parts of dry wheaty golden ale and raspberry seeds - bitter and slightly funky, pretty nice actually. Somewhat thin-bodied, with a dry and mildly acidic mouthfeel. Decent - it avoided the pitfall of being too sweet, and I really liked the seediness of it. blankboy (2687), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 24, 2008 My bottle (341ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus. Pours a hazy orange-copper with an average size lasting frothy off-white head. Mild aroma of raspberries, light spices, yeast and sweet malt. Watery but decent flavour of raspberries, light spices and bready malt. Average bodied. This is alright actually, it’s not great but for this brewery it’s relatively well done. Boutip (1855), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Oct 24, 2008 Bottle: Poured a light copper color ale with a huge foamy head with great retention and some lacing. Aroma of light tart raspberry with some very light malt notes. Taste is also a mix between light raspberries with some light malt notes. Body is too thin with some great carbonation though. I understand that tried to brew alight fruity summer bee but I still think this would have gain with some more malt and raspberries. probstk (711), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Oct 9, 2008 341 ml bottle from Jovi, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy light copper with a fair light tan head.
Aroma: Fresh raspberries, raspberry jam, lighter biscuit and bread dough/yeast, lightly spicy, some green notes (raspberry bush??), a slight medicinal note.
Palate: Medium body, fairly full and lively effervescence.
Flav.: Still some raspberries, a metallic note, more biscuity/wheaty malts, still some slight spiciness; slightly off-dry with a wee hint of bitterness and a little light malt to finish.

Meh. Fruit beers aren’t really a big draw for me and this one is no exception. french tickler (523), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Sep 13, 2008 Shared with Pyrozoid
