understated aroma. Pours a cloudy brown with a thin head. Flat, some smokiness. Not really any IPA qualities to speak of, undetectable bitterness.

Bottle in trade. Coudy rusty brown. Belgian caramel aroma. Foamy smoke body and flavour.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur ambrée-brune foncée et claire. Nez de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées), légèrement terreux et aux faibles notes résineuses, de grains de malt légèrement rôti, léger de caramel ainsi qu’avec des notes de noix et de fruits (agrumes). Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement faible-moyen et une texture moyennement crémeuse et aux notes huileuses. Goût moyennement amer de houblon moyennement terreux et résineux avec des notes citriques de pamplemousse (une amertume présente durant toute la gorgée) accompagné d’un léger goût fruité (agrumes et zest) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel sucré (petites traces de sucre brun) et de grains moyennement rôti puis en finale il y a regain d’amertume plus asséchante et herbeuse (herbes mouillée) avec des notes de noix. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux, légèrement résineux et aux notes terreuses avec des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

A hazy reddish brown ale with a very thin off white head. Lightly hopped caramel malt aroma, faint and boring. In mouth, a nutty malt, woody with British hops. A bit metallic in finish. Medium bodied. A rather dissapointing IPA. 2.99$ at Jovi.

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy brown color ale with a small foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of grassy hops with a bitter finish and some dry malt. Taste is also dominated by some weird grassy hops and quite dominant malt backbone though grainy aftertaste is not so well balanced. Finish bitter with a full body and some average carbonation. Interesting though not something I would necessarily seek again.

330ml bottle from Métro Sabrevois. Poured amber with almost no head. Aroma is quite sweet and hoppy. a bit earthy and a bit piny too. Mouthfeel is quite flat. Close to no carbonation at all. Taste is very light hop, roasted malt, quite sweet. Bitter finish. Weird IPA. Not bad but no so good either. Rating #114

Bouteille de 341 ml achetée chez La Barik (Trois-Rivières, QC). Arôme: Odeur d’houblon avec une pointe de caramel. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée-bourgogne. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de pamplemousse avec une pointe de caramel. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Très légère présence d’amertume d’houblons en arrière goût. (Rating #2381)
