Nice color, ligh body, deceptive for 9% abv. Very "drinkable", almost tastes like a milk stout.

Opaque black beer, good tan head - short lived. A little paint on the nose. Light airy palate, frothy. Dark malt, mildly toasted. Trace of paint. Dry finish. Doesn’t hang together, a bit odd.

341 ml bottle. Pours black with an orange tint, extremely short-lasting beige-brown head. Leaves little or no lacing. Smell is dark chocolate. Taste is roast, moka, chocolate. Some burnt toast and dark coffee in the finish. Light body, oily mouthfeel. Almost no carbonation at all. Not the best Imperial stout I’ve had...

Thanks to Alex for this rare Canadian...This is a gusher, I didn’t expect it and wasn’t paying attention until quite a bit was on the table. Pours a dark brown, almost black, looks good. A big tan foam with a full cap and good lacing...This smells great! What a ris should smell like, light roasted malt, slightly bitter, lots of milk chocolate. Bitter malt balls. This is great!....The taste is not as good, this is probably slightly infected. The nice roasty bitters now come across as just burnt, not as much as finesse. A little chocolate...There is a lot of carbonation in this, almost too much, yet the beer doesn’t come across full enough for me...Easy to drink. With the reviews had no expectations for this, turned out to be quite decent for an infected stout. Can’t recommend but I enjoyed my pour.

Very mediocre imperial stout. Nothing unpleasant about it but one expects a lot more subtle flavours in an imperial stout. A bit of burnt malt, a hint of chocolate, not a very big body or taste. Passable imperial stout but nothing to savour.

Bottle. Pours a black body with a tan head with poor retention. Malty body with hints of dark fruits, plums and cherry notes. A bit ashy probably some oxidation, no idea how old this is. Light soy and chocolate notes. Okay but aged.

Bottle that’s been in my cellar since I got back from a trip to Montreal about a year and a half ago. Pours a deep dark black with a thin to medium sized tan head that all but vanishes almost instantly. Big old plums and chocolate, roast and some oxidization. Age is evident right away. Medium bodied, sweet and plum filled, turning into old coffee grounds and ash. Finishes with more old bitterness and coffee. Paired up with a piece of nice dark chocolate this was passable, but still dumped the bulk of it. Aged out too much.

Bouteille 341 ml. 9%. Couleur noire opaque, mousse beige.

Very dark with dark espresso foam. Aromas coffee roast and dark fruit. Taste follows with french coffee, deep sweet black fruit, dark roast malt, hint of wood ash, finishes with slight acidic lemon hop and acidic fruit. Overall a lightweight for an imperial and pretty sweet, so it’s more a sweet stout with imperial stylings in the dryness/bitterness. Middle is a bit ’empty’ but I’m enjoying just drinking it, a typical Quebec beer that’s not ultra demanding. It did not fare badly as described by Alain at Peluso.

Is that a pop? Way too much carbon dioxyde in it. Slight coffee and chocolate. Just plain sour. I dislike although I appreciate the effort on the style.
