Objectively speaking:
A toasty and roasty ale of pretentious lineage and little character.
I like:
Malty approach. Gently roasty. Soft nutty tones. Smooth edges.
I dislike:
Generally bland. No head retention. Dull palate, very very low carbonation. This was initially served as their IPA - scary moment. Not very developed toasty side.

Jul 21, 2008 En fût. Verre de 4 oz directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur de malt caramélisé avec une pointe chocolatée. Apparence: La couleur est brune foncée. Présence d’un mince col beige mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de caramel fruité avec une pointe de tabac. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Caramel légèrement brûlé en arrière goût. (Rating #1827)

Son nom curieux, ne déçoît pas!
Dégusté au Mondial de la bière à Montréal.
Légère amertûme, petit goût sucré.
Bière douce et tranquille, sans trop de goût percutant, mais excellente pareille.

Aug 23, 2007 On-tap at St. Bock, a brewpub with lots of guest taps. Very dark brown with a tiny mocha head. Like a stout in taste, but substantially malty. A tad smoke and roast. Little dots of roast. Medium mouthfeel. A fun brown.

Aug 20, 2007 [511-20070811] Tap @ Saint-Bock (Montréal, QC). Light medicinal and coffee malt aroma. Black red body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Very coffee-like with sweet dark malt and a bitter finish. Full body. Comes together well if you like beer-ified coffee, couldn’t help some eye-rolling at the name though.
