fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2007 7% ABV
Cloudy blond color, with a lot of floating objects. The smell is strange, with glue and plastic. Thin mouthfeel, very simple Belgian Ale, some spices and some sweetness. Not good. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Oct 1, 2004 Bottle. Soft and quite dry, lemon skin and yeast, some lemon scented toilet cleaner in the aroma. Flowery. Quite carbonated, decent. JorisPPattyn (4642), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 22, 2006 My bottle claims 7% ABV only Unclear orange-straw coloured beer with irregular, dirty-white thick head. Very alcoholic nose, as some spirit, some maltwhisky features. Very spicey as well, characteristic, but I’m unable to pin it down. Honey too. Strange spicey taste, at the verge of sourishness, and mannah-like flavour. Some little residual sweetness, white bread and some alcohol. Vegetable flavour retronasal. Alcoholwarming, little burning feel, medium bodied and certain slickness. Infected, I’m sure. As was their first try, which I dismissed out of hand. This might well be their last, and not much is changed, ’t would seem... motelpogo (4124), Plzen, Czech Republic Dec 20, 2004 bottled. hazy blonde. lots of apple peel and vanilla and cheesecake, some clove earthiness in the finish. soft and furry and drinkable. light yeasty quality, solid sayravai (3224), Helsinki, Finland Apr 6, 2004 (Bottled, 7% ABV) Very hazy, dark orange color with medium and tight head. Hoppy and crisp aroma with some yeastiness. Hoppy, spicy, peppery flavor. Medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing palate. Very enjoyable, and a nice summer brew.
