Saint Florian, the Patron Saint of Firefighters, is now a Northwest IPA . A portion of Saint Florian’s proceeds will go to a Washington State Council of Firefighters benevolent fund. Silver City Brewery has a long standing partnership & tradition of working with our local Firefighters. The Benevolent Fund supports firefighters and their families as well as the general public, in their time of need. Saint Florian IPA, formerly Indianola IPA, uses Washington grown Cascade & Columbus hops that are boldly citrus, floral and piney. What better way to enjoy a truly local handcrafted IPA then knowing you are supporting those that keep us safe. Cheers to you and Cheers to Firefighters everywhere!

Draft pour pint at the Silverdale brewery location. Pours a copper color with a huge bubbly head. Sweet malty aroma. Thick body. Creamy, with a low bitter hop finish. Good IPA overall.

Bottle (12oz $1.80): Clear Copper with white head that disappears pretty quickly. Floral aroma. Pretty piney taste. Not much citrus. Lingering pinely bitterness in the end. Not a favorite but would drink again.

22oz in Seattle. Darker mahogany. Medium amber aroma, soft caramel, fruity red fruit. Hops come in softly at end, some pine, but lots of caramel. Solid but not too interesting.

This one is complex. Before the bitterness quicks in, there’s a sublime sweetness in the malt flavor. Hops are decidedly pine oriented. A good one.

12 oz bottle, served in a cheater pint. Pours bright orange copper with thin white head that laces well. Aroma is deep caramel malt, just a hint of hops stand out against the sweetness. Taste is similar - juicy chewy flavorful caramel malt, with a somewhat sharp hop bite. The hops are aggressively bitter, but not all that flavorful. Some dank pine notes, but that’s about it. Not a bad beer at all, but quite malt driven for a NW IPA.

Bottle. Pours a clear and slightly reddish amber color with a moderate cream-colored head. Nose was pretty light for me with some subtle grass elements to it. Taste has just a touch of sweetness, with a bit of bitterness and a little caramel in there. A delightfully complex beer.
