Clean amber body and off white head. Light funk, making this more interesting. Further has a yeasty, doughy base malt with small caramel notes and a refined moderate hop profile. Very pleasant and interesting taste, saison like yeast -- nee, Biere de Garde -- that gets a moderate yet lasting bitterness to support that yeast high hitter. It is smooth and blond and even accessible, so it will never reach high ratings, but for me a super high quality brew that I would happily recommend; especially for those who want to get into craft beer or for those that you want to force craft beer upon. ;) (33cl bottle Saveur Bière)

25.11.13 Bottle 330ml Saveur. Slightly-hazy amber color, small steady white head, lace. Aroma has some tropical overriped fruits with yeasty notes. Medium-bodied. Fruity, dry spicey bitterness, notes of yeast. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Most of the "biere de gardes" at RB are not biere de gardes but this could be one of them.

Pour is a hazy amber with a ginormous white head. Aroma is citrus fruit with some honey malt and yeast. Flavor is very herbal and flowery with more of a dark fruit. Finish has some earthiness and burnt caramel. Decent beer and a more fruity take on a BDG.

330 ml bottle. From saveur-biere.com.
Slight haziness and a small frothy off-white head in a deep golden coloured beer. The aroma is very tempting. Belgian style yeast, malt, fruitiness and some spices in the aroma. Great! Strong hops, yeast, bitterness and malt in the flavour. Excellent! Very tasty Bière de Garde.

Bottled. Slightly hazy amber colour with a big foamy white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, herbal and earthy with some bready malts to it. Flavour is floral, herbal, crisp bready and caramelly malts to it along with some earth and mild wooden bitterness lurking. Wellbalanced, and pleasant.

Bottle@Home. Very fruity, citrus (lemon) aroma. Dark yellow, white head, good lace. Malty, pretty bitter, citrus. Very dry mouth feel. Flavourful, well done.

Hazy amber color with a large white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, vanilla, toffee malts, spices, some grass, and light baked bread. Taste of caramel malts, earthy yeast, bread, grassy bitterness, and a dry finish.

Bottle picked up from Fietje, Marseille, France, June 2013 consumed at home Sunday 13th October 2013 Pours mid amber with off-white slightly creamy head. On the nose I get a little soft fuzzy fruit such as peach or nectarine but bit unripe. Fruity in mouth also but a bit yeasty sort of tastes a bit frumpy like it needs a workout, its fine but hardly memorable save for the cool label. Overall it’s a tangy, fruity, malty, yeasty beer with busy carbonation that could have done with a little more hoppiness. Its fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), lightly to moderately yeasty (basement, cobwebs), with light notes of dried apricot and gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not a whole lot going on with this one, aromatically. Pretty good balance but overall a bit plain.
