Bottle: The aroma is fruit (plum and grape) and candi sugar. It pours a hazy, bordering on cloudy, amber with a small off-white head that fades to a thin film. The flavor has lots of grape and plum. There is some faint tartness in the background. The finish has some light caramel and the faintest hint of spice. Light-medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Beer pours orange with a white head. The aroma is toffee, honey and some sweet malts. The flavor is more of the same with a nice earthy hop bitterness to prevent the beer from being too sweet. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

Bottle - 75cL swing-top - from the Rare Beer Club. Pours a translucent copper with a short, fading white head. Aroma is grassy and yeasty with dried fruit, light caramel, and sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt, light caramel, hints of honey, dusty yeast, grassy hops and soft spices. Body is light-medium and the carbonation delicate. Ends with more honey, sweet malt, dried fruit notes, spices, light yeast, caramel, straw and grassy hops.

Medium amber beer - lively at first, but the fizzy head sinks to a small lace - aroma of toffee, toasty maltiness, moderate esters, candied citrus, dusty/cobweb yeast notes - moderate carbonation in the mouth - light to medium bodied - flavor is fairly sweet (candied fruit, toffee, baked apples), but with balancing notes of hops (bitterness, floral notes), earthy, dusty yeast, and some spice/warmth on the tail end - finish of toasted malts and lightly caramelized sugars, but with a light balancing tartness - another subtle but delicious beer from this brewery.

750ml bottle split with Anndiesel. Unfiltered burgundy brown. I really enjoy the subtle, delicate malt nuances of a French Bierre de Garde, and it is always a pleasure to try another. This one leans into Belgian Christmas Ale/WInter Warmer territory, with luscious amber malt tones, and some candied fruitcake flavors. Overall displays a great balance. A touch of bitter balancing bitterness up front leads toasty, clean malt finish, touches of raisin and cherry. Right on, a great Christmas beer.
