330 ml bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour, thick white head. Spicy aroma of wheat, citrus and yeast. The flavour is a lot like the aroma: wheat, citrus and a spicy, mildly hoppy finish. A bit thin on the palate, but nice and lively carbonation. Refreshing, but not particularly interesting.

Uneventful white beer that doesn’t really move beyond the citrus fruit flavours. Quite boring in some respects although came with some wraps. Hard to pick this one over German styles.

thewolf (11099) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2010
bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours pale hazy amber with a big, staying, frothy, white head. Light green hue. Aroma has lots of green apple, some citrus, sweet wheaty malts. Very nice and fruity. Highish carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, citric, fine sharpish grassy bitterness, wheaty malts. Lovely dryness. Very good wit.

Dickinsonbeer (5077) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Bottle at Andy and Max’s fantasy tasting. Pours a very pale blonde- not as hazy as most witbiers, thin fading head- no lace. Aroma is very nice- spicy earthy phenolics, toast, bready pils malt, wheat, grass and light on the spices. Flavor is mroe grass, crisp clean wheat and fresh pils malt, very crackery, crisp, mineral, light flowers, and a smooth clean light finish. A bit thin overall, but it was very fresh- unique witbier with extremely low spice additions.

ben4321 (3750) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Location: 750 ml bottle at Max and Andy’s Fantasy Tasting, 5/1/10

Aroma: Fairly muted nose of citrus and wheat
Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow color with a decent white head
Flavor: Taste is citrus, wheat, and spice
Palate: The body is fairly light, refreshing, a bit thin
Overall Impression: This beer was alright. A decent citrusy wheat beer. Thirst quenching, but overall fairly dull.
