SWING TOP 33 CL. Dark ruby-brown, beige head. Sweet molasses in the nose, dark caramel, nutty fortified wine, some medicinal herbal vermouth too. Taste: light roasty and medicinal sweetness, warming alcohol, in a light easy drinking body. The finish has some soy sauce salty notes that makes it even less sweet and more drinkable. An excellent and distinct beer.

Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma has brown sugar and alcohol soaked raisins. Taste is quite bitter and roasty from start to finish. Dark malts, brown sugar, dried dark fruits and a bit of liquorice are also present. Body is medium and quite carbonated. Overall it’s a pretty nice beer, only the alcohol presence bothers me a bit.

Quite a nice surprise this one. Dark brown with tanned foam. Light caramel aroma and taste, some complex taste, cannot quite define. (Belfort 201507) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at Amagerbro Ølfest. Low fluffy off-white lasting head. Very dark brown body. Sweet smooth and creamy roasted malt caramel coffee aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweeet finish. Would never have guessed the alcohol percantage.

Bottle... Pours hazy and brown with ruby highlights and a small, creamy, taupe head. Good retention. The aroma features dates and some herbal, rooty notes - sassafras. Full-bodied and oily with tingly carbonation. The flavor offers toasty malts and sweet dark-dried fruits - dates and raisins. Lengthy, sweet, toasty finish.

Bottle from Carrefour Supermarket, Calais, France. This very dark brown beer has a red fruit and chocolate flavour, spicy vinous notes, followed by vanilla and liquorice on the creamy fruity finish.
