Cloudy orange-brown, head white and dense. Sour apple smell, reminiscent of cider. Flavour is fruity, a little sweet, with sour apples and mild hoppiness. A very interesting beer.

An honest golden ale that hesitates between English and Belgian inspirations.
I like:
Appealing citrusy hops. Soft cerealic pale malts, rather fresh, bready, clean. No acidity. Easy-drinking for 7%. Firm-bodied.
I dislike:
Limited yeast character, no fruitiness.

Jun 3, 2008 Verre de dégustation, provenant d’une bouteille de 330 ml, au Mondial de la Bière 2008 (Montréal, QC). Arôme: Odeur de pomme avec une pointe d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est blonde voilée. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de céréale et de fruité avec une pointe d’épices. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence d’épices en arrière goût. (Rating #1725)

Appearance: Golden-amber with bright medium top.
Nose Soft grainy feel , wheat like softness with estery notes. Neat. 7+
Flavor/Palate : Soft bodied with surprisingly rich character. Cherry , bubble gum , grains and hops with gentle earthy thing. Very drinkable, yummy stuff.
