It respects the conditions of the regional collective appelation "Saveurs en or".For its manufacture, we use hops from Flandres, and local barley malts. Gold medal holder at the Salon Agricole de Paris in 2006 in the category of blonde beers of high fermentation.

Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Aroma is apple, spices and some earthy notes. Flavour is very much the same along with slightly more fruityness and also wood. Gets better when warming up a bit.

0.75 l bottle. Golden color with no head. Strong notes of apple, clove and pepper in the aroma along with malt, honey, wood and orange. The same elements in the flavor along with herbal hops. Tasty, but after a while apple-clove note gets too overpowering. Very low real ale like carbonation which is not bad IMO.

Bottled 75 cl (BB 12/2008)
Golden color, no head. Apple cidery aroma with light spices. Sweetish pear cider -like flavors mixed with harsh maltyness. Actually not very beer -like, more like drinking bitterish cider. Very similar to ambree-version. Flat mouthfeel, no carbonation. Weird.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2007 (Bottled, 0.75l) Clear golden with a medium, white head. Slightly sour and sweet aroma of pear-honeyish malt with saisony hoppiness, and lots of fruit. Slightly sour, apple-pear-fruity flavor with sweetish malt, some witbier spiciness and hints of alcohol. With yeast, there’s soma sahti-like banana in both aroma and flavor. Medium to full-bodied, smooth palate with quite low carbonation. The first batches to arrive in Finland were very low-carbonated, but since then, they’ve fixed it (the score went 3.1 -> 3.6).

Bottled. Aroma of citrus, mainly lemon but also hints of grapefruit. Sweet, pretty bitter, citrus, well hopped, salty in the finish. Light sticky start but dryish finish. Very well balanced. Is this a Belgian Ale, a Blond Ale or a Biere de Garde. I couldn’t tell but certainly a very good beer.

Bottle. Cloudy golden/amber beer with a mulled fruity aroma and vinous, Belgian ale flavour. Overall a standard Belgian ale imitation.
