courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear blond colour with a firm white head; slightly buttery and spicy, fair aromatic hoppiness; good malt body, some initial sweetness and a robust bitterness, very lively palate; long hoppy and slightly spicy finish; quite dry - lot of character and very pleasant

75cl bottle. Hazy golden, fluffy white head. Hayish hoppy, grainy malty aroma, slight citric fruitiness and mint. Grainy, dry malty flavor, hayish hops, little alcohol in the finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth round carbonation. Simple but easy drinking and thirst quenching.

[1485-20080601] Bottle. Lemon aroma has a bit of grainy toasted yeast. Slightly hazy, medium orange light brown body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Wheat flavour has a slice of lemon accent. Medium body. Refreshing.

Golden beer with medium white head. Aroma is pleasant: complicated, slightly sour, citrus and some grass and pine needles are found. Flavour is quite similar than aroma, anyway flavour is quite dry and some spicyness and slightly musty in the end. Quite easy to drink but still even slightly oily meaning that nice beer to drink. Page 24 Blonde Réserve Hildegarde is refreshing beer with complicated aroma and flavour; interesting summer-beer.

2008-06-01. Hazy golden yellow, small off-white head. (3+) Interesting aroma, yeasty, light fruit and caramel, pale malt. (6+) Similarly yeasty flavour, pleasant sweet caramel and pale malt. Average palate is pleasantly smooth. Simple quaffable brew. Bottle, Mondial, Montreal, Thanks DuctTape

Objectively speaking: An honest golden ale that hesitates between English and Belgian inspirations.
I like: Appealing citrusy hops. Soft cerealic pale malts, rather fresh, bready, clean. No acidity. Easy-drinking for 7%. Firm-bodied.
I dislike: Limited yeast character, no fruitiness.
