courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear blond colour with a firm white head; slightly buttery and spicy, fair aromatic hoppiness; good malt body, some initial sweetness and a robust bitterness, very lively palate; long hoppy and slightly spicy finish; quite dry - lot of character and very pleasant

750 ml swingtop bottle, now available in Norway at Vinmonopolet. ABV is 6.9%. Pale golden colour, just a slight haziness, big white head. Nice aroma of "Belgian" (French, actually) yeast, with spicy / peppery notes. Some fruit and grass too. The flavour is first crisp and moderately spicy / peppery, leading to a fruity moderate sweetness, ending in a moderately hoppy and spicy finish and aftertaste. A truly enjoyable bière de garde - will buy again.

Botte from Vinmonopolet. A good pick for once. Hazy gold, nice pop of the patent cork. Saison-like, a lovely blend of barnyard, sourness and fruit. Keep them coming!

750ml swingtop - hazy golden pour, with fairly good head retention - earthy tartness and light acidity hit the nose first, but honey, wildflowers, and a slight muskiness follow behind that - these are what manifest in the flavor at first, especially the honey and wildflower character - a bit of bitterness arrives through the middle, and a faint kick of acetic acid perks the tongue up a bit - some toasted grain and yeast arrive in the lingering sweetness of the finish - another subtle, well-balanced beer from this brewer.

Bottle, thanks to ryan! Slightly cloudy amber with a thin head and a little bit of lacing. Smells great, with sweet raspberries, yeast and grass. Tasty, with a great yeasty barnyard flavor, and a nice bitter hoppy finish.

Tap at BT. Pours a nice clear bright blonde with a thinning white head. Aroma is big toasty malts, warm bread, biscuit, and veyr light grass with some touch of warming doughy yeast with a whisp of phenolics. Flavor is even more toasty, bready and biscuity- very fresh pils malt, very smooth rounded malts accentuated by a clean yet distinct yeast profile and a fairly dry finish. Seemed very fresh, and also seemed like the malts were fairly delicate and could turn at any minute to a sweet cidery oxidized mess. Great drinking now though.

Came to Norway to try this one. Fliptop. Hazy golden yellow color, large white head. Aroma of barnyard straw and citrus with light spice. Taste is mildly funky hay, lemonpeel, spice, rising white bread dough. Nice.

Fluffy white head on cloudy amber. Dusty Saison lite spice aroma. A hint of sweetness glides across the tongue in passing fashion followed quickly by a nice spicy beer. Aftertaste brings back the sweetness and a light soft pepper note. Very tasty and Drinkable. Emerging nectarine and orange flavour in the middle.

A good blond beer from France. The colour is blond and light gold, with a very nice big white head. You really whant to taste it. Smell as hops and orange. First taste, simple beer with hops and orange taste. Aftertaste you will feel the complexity of the beer.
