Bottle in Paris. Smooth fresh and typical sharp beginning. Smooth yeasty, spicy, a bit rough. Nice as it should be. Dry spicy yeasty aftertaste with hints of grain. Mild and dry, easy to drink! Great typical brew.

Hazy orange color. Head is white and bautifully lacy. Aroma is sour, apple-like, tart, flowery hoppy and slightly citric with some berries. Sour but still some kind of sweet apple-like, fruity and yeasty flavor is also spicy. Aftertaste is dry and slightly bitter with flowery hoppyness. Medium-bodied, smoothly carbonated palate is slightly alcoholic.

Cloudy yellow, light white head. Very yeasty and fruity on the nose with some caramel and floral hops. Flavor is very nice. Sweet, tart and lightly bitter on the finish. Good yeasty notes and some nice light fruit. Good stuff.

75cl bottle. Pours golden with a creamy head. Good lacing. Herbal hoppy aroma, good choice of hops. Strong malty backbone. Good balance, good complexity, perfect carbonation and texture. Very good beer.

Bottle, 75cl. It pours a hazy, pale golden-orange body under a decent white head leaving lacings. Quite lovely spice touch in the aroma, citrusy with a pleasant grainy imprint. Yeast notes and a suiting barnyard hint. Really refreshing and quenching with a nice blend of pale malts and citrusy hops. Quite sweet, but that just suits the beer, and the finish is as dry as it should be. Some yeast and a fine bitterness also find it’s way down the throat. Medium to full body, slightly warming and pleasantly carbonated. This was a nice surprise after too many mediocre French beers. 090919

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Cloudy peach coloring. Smells of sweet breading, light fruit smells. Spicy notes round things out. Taste is fruit with dry kumquat. Spices feel earthy and grassy. Very good, however with an increasingly dry finish.

Pours rather hazy, pale yellow with a nice, small, frothy, white head. Aroma is nice, dry, green apple, light vinious, hints of pineapple, coconut, malts. High carbonation, good dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, very malty, light peppery, ginger, dry, light piney. Long, vinious and bitter finish. Nice.

750 c&c from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy, dirty gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is mildly earthy and somewhat fruity. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is mild malt with a lot of earthy muckiness. Not really sour, though the fruit and spice sort of suggest that. It’s actually rather refreshing. Damn tasty too.
