We love what we do and we love all of our beers, but none as much as the beer you now hold. From concept to execution
Saint Joseph was the result of impassioned inspiration. Little things like the selection of the yeast and specialty grains were a source of great joy. It is our most sincere hope that the love, pride and dedication to our craft comes through in this bottle.
Cheers, Jeff, Fred, Steve and Wayne.

I guess this is the brew made for their first anniversary... Congrats fellas!! Label calls this an "Imperial Saison".
Picked this up at Brewforia Meridian for a pricey $12ish... Poured into my HotD goblet and a 2 finger tan head rises up and sticks around forever... Great lacing as the clear reddish amber brew drops.
The nose is interesting.... spicy peppery phenols and a light kiss of banana... almost some ginger character.
Flavor mirrors the nose with a middle of the road sweetness for such a large ABV saison.. maybe not sweetness, but a good residual caramel maltiness and some dark toast... Flavors are a mash-up between a BSDA and a darker saison. Perhaps could have a little less malt profile. With warmth a pleasant sorta plummy element comes out.
Body is pretty hefty, but plenty of small bubble carbonation helps lift it up.
I will pick this up again... I hope the COOP gets it in.
