Grima (2070) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - MAY 19, 2011
Pours into the glass a pineapple yellow, slightly cloudy beer, very similar to a Weizen. It forms little foam, which disappears too quickly. The smell is hoppy sour. Starts fresh tangy sour, very similar to a Zwickl. The aftertaste is slightly yeasty, The beer remains well pleasing acidic to the finish.

Small coarseish white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Oily fruity malty aroma with spicy notes. Dry-sweetish honey and spice taste with chalky mango notes. Light body. Mealy mouthfeel. Dry fruity mango and papery toffee aftertaste with chalky grassy notes. Papery toffee taste lingers. Nice. Very clear and vivid. Refreshing, too. (0.33l bottle from some drinks shop, Strasbourg.)
