DrBeer (744), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden Nov 23, 2006 Orange-red with thin white head.
Spicy aroma with notes of meat, muscovado, rocks, chocolate and cinnamon.
Chocolate flavour with notes of rocks, muscovado, biscuits, coffee, fruit and hops.
Dry with fruity finish. Magic_dave6 (3752), London, Greater London, England Mar 11, 2007 Im a big fan of this brewery from what iv had so far, although all beers iv had have been out of date. Aroma is sweet candy sugar, fruity yeastyness. Taste is again really fruity pineapple peach plums and alround goodness. HumbertHumbert (77), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 29, 2006 Bottle shared at Delerium Cafe, Brussels. I was trying to concentrate on small brewers from the Belgian countryside - those nice, earthy farmhouse-style beers that seem so hard to come by in the US. This was a lovely example, with pleasant dryness, small-beaded carbonation and a definite floral presence in the aroma and flavor. A somewhat muted barnyard flavor gave way to distinct pepper and cumin, like armpit - but in a good way. The slightly vegetal flower petal and pepper combination reminded me of edible flowers like tulip and nasturtium, but if there are actually flowers in this beer, it’s not jonquille, as I later learned that daffodils are not edible. Thanks, Joris, for helping out on this one. Jerre (1353), Waregem, Belgium May 17, 2007 Updated: Aug 3, 2008Bottle 75 cl. @ home. Hazy amber color, white head. Aroma malts, sweet, little yeast. Medium body. Taste good malts, very dry light caramel, yeast character and some little honey.
Re-tasted as Domenius (label says 7,5 %) and Chris from "Mi Orge Mi Houblon"
(Arlon) says this is not an labelbeer.
