UPDATED: JUL 10, 2006 A Mes & Sim rate: bottled from Waterhuis aan de Bierkant, Ghent Belgium. Sweet honey aroma with a little spruce, caramel, cinnamon and cream in the aroma. Great cloudy appearance and a pretty fine head on top too. Citric orangey flavour with the obvious honey too. Unusual spicy, spritzy palate Delightful.

33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ March 09. Murky dark amber with a white frothy head. Nose of aromatic, spicy hops and honey. The taste begins sweet and goes via a spicy sensation into a long hop bitter aftertaste. Heavy body, strong carbonation.

The honey goes through as it should. It still has some sting. Suprisingly strong (didn’t feel that).

Earthy nose, yeasty and sweet aromas too. Opaque gold orange, foamy head. Soft creamy malt. Hint of honey, though not very strong. Full body. Warming effect from the alcohol, but in background. Decent, interesting brew.

oh6gdx (20217) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 5, 2005
Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, foamy mediumsized head. Aroma of skunky barnyard as well as cardboard and some sweet fruits. Quite dry, maybe a bit honey in flavour. Some frutis in the flavour too. Long dry grassy caramellish aftertaste. Alcohol is wellhidden in this one.

sayravai (4667) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 3, 2005
(Bottled) Opaque orange with a medium, lacy head. Neutral, dryish, slightly spicy (coriander?) aroma with cardboard hints. The flavor is somewhat sweeter, with honey hints and slightly less evident hopping than in the ambree. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated palate. Practically an ambree with added honey - and definitely not bad.

Dark orange color, medium lasting lead. Sweet caramel nose - also taste with some hoppy nose. A bit to sweet for my liking.
