Draught @ <a href=http://ratebeer.com/events-detail.asp?eventID=6803 target=_new> Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Unclear medium amber color with a small, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, coffee, sweet, dust. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (020308)

Jul 11, 2008 Courtesy of Fonefan. The Beer floods out of the bottle, and goes on and on. The head is very weak and quickly disappearing. The color is beautiful red mahogany. The aroma is sourish with notes of roasted malt, dark sourish fruits, slightly dry citrus and light candy sugar. The overall impression is a bit disturbed by the sourness IMO.

Apr 16, 2008 Pours a murky brown color with a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of caramel, fruits, yeast and mild smoke. Good flavor of caramel and yeast with some mild fruits. The body is medium with an oily texture and gentle carbonation. A good dubbel.
