10/IX/2012 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 2015 (2012-1016)
Little cloudy amber beer, small creamy off-white head, bit adhesive, pretty stable. Aroma: fruity, peaches, sugar, sweet malts, hint of caramel and fudge. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, quite some caramel, some banana, fruity. Aftertaste: caramel, some overripe fruits, pretty sugary, little bitter.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 alassio (64) - USA - JUL 29, 2012
It’s like apricot cider, but kind of watery. The carbonation gets you wanting more (carbonation). The body gets you wanting more (body). I generally like apricots though.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Abio (1343) - Waasland, BELGIUM - JUN 22, 2012
Amber coloured beer with a head that colapse to quick. The smell is a bit weird, seems not totally natural, a bit of siropy sweet fruits, that gets trough some hops and a mixture of spices. Not my smell for sure. Made me expect the worst for the taste, and besides the sweetness is not there as expected after smelling (but it’s there...), the mixture of hops, malts and the yeast, with the spices is not my thing. Better as the aroma’s that came out of the glass, but wondering if this bottle is good...
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 DutchDrebus (2299) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - APR 10, 2012
Hazy murky orange with a small head. Smells slightly soapy, some hops, yeast, some herbs. Tastes sweet, a bit fruity, also a bit ’round’.. A bit flat on the carbo and a medium body. It’s okay but i don’t like it a lot.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Benzai (4368) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - APR 10, 2012
33cl bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Cloudy, hazy yellow orange color with yeast particles in it, small white lacing on top. Smells like liquid to do the dishes with, lightly grassy, lightly blossom or flowers and herbs or spices. Weird. Taste malts, some sweetness and even somehow something vaguely reminding me of hops. Low to medium carbonation and body, not enough for an 8%ABV beer imo.

Colore ambrato con schiuma finissima che svanisce in fretta. Al naso direi frutta, mentre al palato ancora frutta, molto carbonata e dolciastra...
