couleur dorée, mousse qui disparait. Nez de vieille pommes, notes acides. Gout de mauvais caramel, vieux fruits, aspartame, quand même assez doux, m’attendais a pire.

Can 50cl, a copper beer. Very fruity on apple and candied oranges, lot of malt as for a doppelbock, very sweet with alcohol touch. Even better than expected.

500 ml can bought at the 759 Store in Sheung Shui Centre.

Golden yellow honey colour; One quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Small sticky lacing with slight soft carbonation; Very strong sweet smell of malt, with corn syrup, grains, fruity nectar, light bread, light lemon and light grass; Fairly strong sweet taste of light malt, with alcohol, caustic soda, syrup, grains, light lemon, faint liquorices and light grass; Medium body, quite oily and thick palate; Mouth feel is fatty malt likka, all corn syrup, booze and some fusel. It’s strong, quite caustic and furious to the tongue but strangely, it’s not offensive really. Malt is thin, sweetness and booze are subdued, and with some pleasant, nectar like fruity taste similar to the smell. No other off tastes. Not bad; Hoppiness is light lemon and thin grass in nose and taste, plus thin liquorices for a notable low bitter finish; Fairly dry after taste, thick and boozy to mouth.

Comments: This is one of the better-tasting Malt Likka / Euro Strong Pale from Saint Omer. Cheap as it is, it still has better quality to please drinkers of all spectrum. You get all the bangs for the bucks. Recommendable as a good cheap fix!

Malty nose and taste with oily mouthfeel. Half litre can fromCora.Good lacing on the glass, but this is bordering on a malt liquor.

Golden yellow pale color, very modest bubbly aspect, discreet head duration. Metallic and alcoholic taste, very warm with a stinging malty notes. Realy, realy, realy metallic body, powerfull alcohol perception, much prickly and biting final.

Can: Big lively pretty vast head, changes with medium speed into a thin sticky lacing on top of a clear bright yellow light golden colored beer. Smell malts, soap, bleached grains, sharper grains, some fruit like pine apple and apricot,  Tastes like piss; well, how it smells when someone has eaten asperagus and takes a piss... Don’t know of this is a correct way of describing this beer, but that’s what came to mind.  There is some urinal (like smell) cooked vegetables, bad grains, unbalanced as a motherfucker! Awfull! This must be even a deathwish for bums! Aftertaste is luckily gone very quick but what I could trace in the aftertaste is some cooked vegetables, urinair drenched grains and dusty wheat. Nasty! Medium carbo, tingly light spicy mouthfeel low nasty unbalanced body and a watery texture. Bad bad bad! Stomachturning! An almost complete drainpour! One of the nastiest things I have ever tasted! Really bad!

Bottle from Vival supermarket, Montmorillon, France. Golden coloured with a sweet floral fruity flavour, tart sugary notes and a fake-chemical fruity finish.
