rlgk (9387) - Göteborg/Jönköping, SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2008
Bottle at Pub Heaven, Nice, France. Pale golden, small white head. An ordinary lager, some malt, some hops. Refreshing a hot day but not that much more...

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2008
750ml bottle. Golden, fizzing, lacy. Smells waxy and grainy like a ’Polish Strong’. It’s all vaguely smoky, buttery whiskeyish malt and no hops. Faint apple and alcohol. Unpleasantly bitter. One-dimensional and dull.

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2007
Bottle from a Co-op in Nottingham, reduced from £1.29 to £0.86. And very rightly too. Gold with a roasted malt aroma. Taste is sweet and toasty with little bitterness. Nothing else to report. Except don’t pay £1.29.

joe19612 (1743) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2007
Bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a large white head. Aroma of light yeast, malt and fruits. Sweet, malty, fruity and some hops, and medium carbonation. Nothing special but very drinkable.

rauchbier (3559) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2007
Bottle. Gold, good fluffy white head and moderate condition. Peppery fruit and grain in the nose with a touch of sweet pineapple, dry bitter graininess in the mouth with some background esteriness, gentle fruity finish with more esters lingering.

kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2006
Hazy light gold with a large white head. Lemon aroma with some musty malts. Flat, boring lager flavour with some malt depth. A bit thin and lifeless in body. Boring.

johninmelb (1117) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2006
Nose is very, very lagery with a mellowing malt presence. Gold-straw colour with a firm white head. Flavour is not too bad - slightly sweet malt with a very subtle alcohol presence for the strength. Finish is bitter, but a bit harsh. mouthfeel is over carbed. Ultimately it’s ok, but nothing to write home about.

JonMoore (1804) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2006
Bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a large white head. Aroma of light yeast, malt and fruits. Odd taste, which I almost think I don’t like; there seems to be a battle going on between the good and the bad in this beer, and they mostly cancel each other out. Sweet, malty, fruity and some hops but some dodgy chemical elements also. Medium mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. On reflection, overall; not bad.

maeib (8391) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2006
Bottled. A pale lager with a large creamy head on pouring. The aroma is sweet and a little perfumed. A lot of buttery malts present. The taste is really sweet, practically to the point of nastiness. Again quite buttery, but that sweetness just gets in the way. Glad I shared the 650 bottle with the wife as would never have managed it on my own.

johndoughty (3716) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2005
Big head upon pouring.Soon goes to leave a clear blonde beer.Lots of lacing afer drinking and traces of fruitiness although nothing too definite. Reasonably pleasant if uninspiring.
