Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white haed. The aroma has notes of lemons and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of mlat and straw, as well as a lighter note of bread.

Hazy darker blond coloured beer with some light carbonation and an average white head. Herby aroma, some light yeasty and citrus (orange peel) hinted aroma. Full palate. FInish is strong, citrus zest herby and light malty touched. Misses some character, balance.

Bottle 33cl.
Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light toffee and butter, moderate hoppy, dusty, moderate yeasty, spicy, light soap. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090621]

(bottle, 33cl, obviously brewed to celebrate 150 years of the church of De les Hayons, 2007) Slightly cloudy, orange to amber colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and yeasty malty and slightly fruity nose with strong phenolic spices and notes of band-aid/plastic. Moderately sweet flavour, slim bodied according to its abv of 6.0%, moderate almost flat carbonation. Yeasty malt character with citric fruity notes and traces of caramel. Quite dry and moderately fruity finish with light spicy notes. Pretty disappointing by Belgian standards. 05.I.10

Pale yellow with a tiny white head. Sourish aroma with yeasty and spicy notes. Yeasty flavour with spicy and vegy notes. Finished yeasty.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild yeasty, vague phenolic and fruity. Sweet and fruity flavoured, dry phenolic from back of the tongue. Light wheat malty base. Lingering fruity finish.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a lacing, off-white head. Tart, citric nose. Light body, dry and fruity with lots of strange esters - they must ferment their beers at a really high temperature. No real bitterness. Another odd Bouilllon beer. 221109
