Bottle 330ml (Saveur)
Deep amber color, small steady white head. Aroma has red currant, yeast and vegetables. Medium-bodied. Sweetish fruity, yeasty flavor (vegetables), berries. Covers alcohol quite well but not very interesting.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2013 330ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki)
Quite pleasant malty body. touch sweet .some nice maltiness too. a bit brown, but quite nice. Palate a little slimy. I wanted the stronger blond, didn’t want an amber at the time, so wasn’t in the mood for this which may have influenced the rating.

Pour amber with a medium foam head.
Yeast, bready and some dried fruit aromas.
Metallic flavours and burnt rubber notes which I really don’t like.
Average amber ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber to brown bodied with light tan head. Sweet yeast, bready, some wood, fig confiture. Full bodied, making use of the higher abv. Sweet base but well hopped. Too sweet for some maybe, but I like it. (On tap at Le Supercoin)

75cl bottle bought in Cassel and carted back to the UK a month ago, now settled. Ambrée is my least favourite type of ale and it takes a good one to impress me. This is such. Deep ruddy amber, full on barley sugar, unremitting grain and remarkably polished for a beer refermented in the bottle. I am looking forward to trying the others.

Bottle. Deep amber with lots of fluffy white head. Nose is orange hops and a really fruity candy strawberry smell. Taste is prunes and dark fruits. A bit of smoke on the finish. Really balanced and delicious.

Bottled as Barge Rousse bière Picarde:
Another one of the lovely label series (local birds connect with the beer). Printed on nice and expensive looking ribly paper.
Onto the beer. A medium sized creamy vanila colored heaf which disappears quick and leaves some spurs of lacing on top of a haY dark orange brown colored beer.
Smell is very nice: roosvice, caramel, toffee, butter, strawberry, chalk, creamy malts, raisin and something light vinous.
Taste barley malts, barley chalk and barley toast, floral, raisin, bitter, light spicy, hint of liquorice wood, light floral and some bread.
Aftertaste is bitter with malts, hay, floral, (spicy) herbs and light chalk.
Low carbo, soft smooth creamy mouthfeel, good medium body and a light creamy texture.
Very good smell! Nice beer.

Bouteille from Cave à Bulles Paris. Deep Amber-brown, cloudy, large Off-white head. Malty and pleasantly yeasty, dry hop flavours in the finish.
