750ml bottle shared thanks to Lukaduke! Pours hazy pale orange with medium head. Nose is floral doughy grain, hay, a touch chemical-y, fermented fruit. Taste is doughy orange, grainy citrus and wet hay, floral fruit. Finish is bready yeast, spicy grain, some fruit.

Lukaduke (2194) - Portland, Maine, USA - AUG 18, 2014
Pours a medium golden color with three fingers of tight white foam. Nose is a blend of floral grass, strange boozy fruit and earthy spice. Palate follows with some floral honey aspect that provides the base for some grainy dustiness and a touch of horsehair and pepper lingers with a assertive bitterness.

This one poured a hazy darker yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of grass, light spice and pale malt. Flavor was similar, but with fruity notes, assuming from the persimmon. Ok.

Caged gusher. Slightly cloudy straw yellow with massive slow fading head. Lightly funky, bready, and lemon zest on the nose. Don’t get the persimmon or elder flowers, just a nice clean yet slightly funky saison.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong biscuit and yeast notes. The flavor has a lot of orange and peach fruit notes as well as some biscuit and Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice saison.
