3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 from knightly OBT. did not gush - no signs of infection. aroma is faint herbal note, rounded vinegar, heavy yeast funk. appearance is overwhelming carb, cloudy yellow sun. quite foamy but not totally out of control. flavor is yeast funk manifesting as leather and soiled socks. no sign of sage or tamarind though the latter surely served well as yeast food to produce all this carbonation. big acidity burns the tip of my tongue, quite dry, puckering.

Bottle. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Fruity nail polish scent. Watery with wacky fruit and dull sour notes. Lactose?? A unique beer to be sure.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2013 Gusher number two from this guy. Seriously dangerous cork poppage. Not sure how the bottle stayed together. Cloudy yellow pour. Big white head. Not sure you can call it a head when that is all you get. Peppery aroma with a hint of disgusting. Infected? Probably. And it would be no surprise. Taste is in par with the nose with a bit of dirty dishwater. Not impressed. At. All v

Sampled at a recent tasting. In short I enjoy Saint Somewhere beers, but they are pretty much taste the same to me. Peppery, hints of lemon, yeasty etc.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle was an immediate gusher. Poured into a tulip glass. small amount of amber pour with tons of frothy head that needs to settle out before I can drink it. Aroma is very odd with notes of bandaids, medicine, wintergreen, sage, burnt rubber, and briney olives. Taste is quite strong in the wintergreen dept up front but the finish is hugely medicinal and not good. This is another dissapointment from Saint Somewhere.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. Wasn’t explosive. Interesting brew, floral and herbal, I don’t know what tamarind is like really, and the sage was subdued, but generally sourness, funk and lemon zest. Brett. Interesting.

From bottle share at the Ratebeer Gallery event. Pours cloudy blonde with a rich white head and a fruity aroma. There is a carbonated slightly sour light malt flavor with a dry finish.
