On tap at the Brass Tap poured a golden color with aromas of funk, vinegar, light pepper, and some frjit. Flavors are the same as the aroma but with some light coffee. Intereating sassion, but decent none the less.

2015 bottle. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to yellow color with a one finger white head that dissipated pretty quickly. Concave lacing forms around the glass nicely. The smell starts off with a roasty to almost sweet coffee bean over top a light funky sweet to semi-sour grassiness. Light lemon slides in underneath. Light green apple skin shows a light bitterness. The taste copies the smell for the most part with the coffee coming about nicely. Bitter again through the green apple skin. Somewhat grassy sweet. Wet coffee bean / grassy sweet aftertaste. Quick coffee finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a decent sessionable feel about it. Carbonation feels good, somewhat low enough to allow coffee to show a movable dry to wet feel all around. Overall, interesting saison to say the least. That coffee aspect sure does make it one of a kind. I think I could have this one again.

Growler. I got no hint of coffee at all in this! At most, maybe a lingering whiff of roasted bean in the glass. At most. Otherwise its flowers and black pepper. Dandelion maybe. Interesting beer but the pepperiness and dandelion-funk begins to overwhelm after awhile, not something to have a lot of. Golden, modest carb.

Tallahassee, Fl - GrassLands Brewing - on tap. Hazy, light golden appearance, snow white head, nice lace. Aroma of pickle juice and vinegar. Flavor finds the same pickle juice and vinegar profile, which is odd but not unpleasant. Pick up some of the aforementioned coffee in the back end. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel. Thanks to Aurelius for sharing his pour with me.

Foggy blonde with a stiff white head. Pickled pepper aroma, some vinegar. Mineral, vegetal, vinegar and chilies. Actually reminds me of chicken wings. No love from Aurelius. On tap, Grasslands.

On tap at Engine 15 during RBWG. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head. The aroma is yeast and vinegar. Thin mouth with strong vinegar and wheat.

pours a deep gold, mildly hazed .. . foam was ample .. . lots of yeast and sour hay .. . an alright beer but very out of whack .. . . don’t care if there is wi-fi on planes anymore now that I can whittle again!

this was odd. smelled like coffee, tasted like a sour blended with espresso. a bit of yeast tang and black pepper on the tongue. weird. creative, but weird.

Tap at Engine 15 for 12 hours of RBWG. Pours a glowing, bright golden. Wispy lacing. Nose is all vinegar- very intense salty white vinegar. Taste is all vinegar as well. Couldn’t finish this. I don’t mind acetic beers, but there was nothing else here besides the vinegar.
