3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours murky yellow / orange with a white head. The aroma has stone fruit, soft herbs, farmhouse earthy yeast, floral notes, soft caramel and light mushiness. It has a medium crisp body with sharp carbonation. The flavor starts off as a drier version of the aroma and has spicy hops, phenolic spice and a charcoal taste that works even though it sounds like a bad thing. The finish is dry, sharp, crisp and has lots of earthy saison taste. Great saison.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taste from a 750ml bottle at christmas party tasting. Hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head, kind of bubbly. Kind of floral, lemony taste. Medium plus body, kind of a full feel. Smooth, kind of soft, slightly stronger carbonation, more dry finish. Yeasty aroma, mildly spicy, not bad. Light to moderate tart taste, moderate sweet. Mildly chalky, but not bad overall. Fun to sip.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a large frothy white head that had excellent retention. The nose is funky and yeasty with some nice white grape notes and a slight pixie stick lime sugary note. Smells quite delicate and complex. The flavor is quite funky as well with a slight tartness up ftont. Lots of interesting floral and fruity notes in here, not sure I would have guessed grapes in here, but it’s believable once you know. A slight sweetness in the middle, but dries out fairly well on the finish. Light bodied and fairly crisp with nice pinpoint fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice Saison.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mild body, littlealcohol, refreshing. Pale. Too pale. Dry, medium sourness. Fizzy. Quite long finish. Saisons are not my favorite kinds of beers usually, but this one kicks ass.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Thanks, Ryan! Lightly hazy, bright golden body with a foamy, chunky eggshell head & lots of small, quickly rising bubble streams in the beer. Aroma is lovely... Very nice mix of a seemingly fruit-based tartness with a solid backbone of lightly funky farmhouse yeast. Hints of wet cotton, lemon flesh, unripe stone fruit, woody funk, earthy esters, white grape, & faint bubblegum (that Belgian yeast poking through). Taste is very similar; lots of Belgian-style yeast up front, along with funk that seems somewhat like Brett & a tartness that’s close to lacto but not so extreme. Fruity esters, light bubblegum, lemon zest, earthy tones, mild acidic frizz, pleasant citric tartness... Much more complex than I was expecting. The finish has a big, dry, rotten & musty cellar door type funk that balances nicely with the sour aspects of the beer. Zesty, dry, mildly bitter, funky, lightly acidic & tart finish. Can’t say I was expecting much from this beer, but WOW... It was a great saison.
