Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an almost clear amber with an off-white head. Very fresh and spicy aroma. Medium body, fruity, tart and citric with some phenols, carbonation is a little heavy. Dryish finish. Neat and drinkable. 250113

On tap, shared. Cloudy, light amber pour with a fizzy eggshell head. Aroma is pretty mild - grapes, honeysuckle, and some yeast. Flavor is mild as well - a little sweet, a little alcohol burn, a little grain. Not bad, but a little "barely-there".

Draft at Proof. Amber gold pour with slight haze and a bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast funk, banana and clove esters, choppy grains and hints of armor all leather cleaner. Sweet phenol entry with touches of grains fading into spicy cloves, pepper, white grapes, citrus peels with underlying barn funk. Crisp slightly sweet body with some lively carbonation that has a balancing sweet dry finish. As it warms the sweetness comes out more. Pretty good. One of the better St Somewheres.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow on tap with pillowy white head that dissipates to leave light lacing. Aroma of funk, dirty diapers, slight citrus, and sweet apple undertone. Taste follows, less funky and more fruity. Decent, nothing outside the norm for st.somewhere.

I received this from the rare beer club a few months ago. Enjoyed in a tall tulip glass with friends. Sort of a burnt orange appearance. Slightly hazy slight orange head that never fully goes away. Smell is very spicy. Hint of citrus and sweet tropical fruits. Taste is just like the smell. Hints of bread, lots of nice citrus taste, very very spicy like pepper and other herbs. Finish is very yeasty sort of thick and it sticks around for a while. Not a bad beer just sort of standard for a saison.

Hazy light amber color with lasting ivory sheen. Herbal, white grape, dry spice, earthy barnyard aromas. Medium body. Nice pils malt, dry spicy flavors with some herbal fruitiness to finish--good.

Pouring at The Festival in Worcester. Pours a hazed brown amber with a medium to large white to beige head. Soft garpes, funk, caramel and fruit. Musky, sweet malt, funk and more musk. Long musk, grapes and fruit. Tasty.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Murky rusted amber with a tall, foamy but fading, tan head. Aroma is grape skins, funky yeast, straw, grassy hops, toasted grains and soft spice. Taste is strong, funky yeast, earthy notes, toasted malt, grains, straw, soft grassy notes, flowers and dried fruit. Hints of instant oatmeal (Quaker Peaches & Cream) as well, but it’s far in the background. Body is medium with a strong, prickly and effervescent carbonation. Ends with more dusty and funky yeast, earthy hops, toasted malt, multi-grain bread dough, straw, dried flowers and hints of tropical fruit.
