Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured deep, orange with an off-white head. Floral nose. Vinous, grape tones, a hint of citrus and floral hops. Bitter rind-like quality. Spicy yeast towards the finish.

On tap at Brass Tap for Local Takeover Night, poured a cloudy copper orange color, with aromas of pepper, grapes, some wine, and funk. Flavors are tart pears, pepper, grapes, and some sweet malt. Not always a fan of this breweries beers, but this one was different than the rest, real nice beer not too sour/acidic, just the right amount of tartness to make it enjoyable, and had a clean finish.

Auburn hazy in color, no head. Sweet nose. Champaign carbonation. Alcohol heat on the back of my palate. Some light hops. Yeast notes, some bubblegum. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(750ml bottle) cloudy orange with fine tan bubbles. Nose of Brett-C, lightly tart and funky, horseblanket, fruity, smells excellent and reminds of a Fantome. Taste of orange pulp, lightly funky, Brett-C, some tartness and caper berry influence. Well carbonated, dry, and excellent.

750 ml bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, yeast, fruittiness and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, pear, yeast, light apple and light spice with a smooth lingering fruity finish.

I have had Cynthiana on tap and 750ml bottle - I liked the bottle slightly better - probably one of my favorite Saint Somewhere beers. crisp and semi dry - love it!

Interested to try this .. . pours an amber gold .. medium foam .. lacing is pretty darn good .. . yeast, grape skin, grape seed, and earth .. . somewhat sticky unpleasing finish .. . . No eating puzzles in the house and surely we don’t jump on the beds!
