I received this from the rare beer club a few months ago. Enjoyed in a tall tulip glass with friends. Sort of a burnt orange appearance. Slightly hazy slight orange head that never fully goes away. Smell is very spicy. Hint of citrus and sweet tropical fruits. Taste is just like the smell. Hints of bread, lots of nice citrus taste, very very spicy like pepper and other herbs. Finish is very yeasty sort of thick and it sticks around for a while. Not a bad beer just sort of standard for a saison.

Hazy light amber color with lasting ivory sheen. Herbal, white grape, dry spice, earthy barnyard aromas. Medium body. Nice pils malt, dry spicy flavors with some herbal fruitiness to finish--good.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Murky rusted amber with a tall, foamy but fading, tan head. Aroma is grape skins, funky yeast, straw, grassy hops, toasted grains and soft spice. Taste is strong, funky yeast, earthy notes, toasted malt, grains, straw, soft grassy notes, flowers and dried fruit. Hints of instant oatmeal (Quaker Peaches & Cream) as well, but it’s far in the background. Body is medium with a strong, prickly and effervescent carbonation. Ends with more dusty and funky yeast, earthy hops, toasted malt, multi-grain bread dough, straw, dried flowers and hints of tropical fruit.

Bottle… Cloudy burnt-caramel ale with a huge, rocky, off-white head. Great retention. The aroma provides nice spiciness, caramel and an assortment of herbs. Medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is a good balance of light, fruity acidity, earthy bitterness and caramel sweetness. Finishes moderately bitter, mildly tangy and bone-dry.

Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured deep, orange with an off-white head. Floral nose. Vinous, grape tones, a hint of citrus and floral hops. Bitter rind-like quality. Spicy yeast towards the finish.

On tap at Brass Tap for Local Takeover Night, poured a cloudy copper orange color, with aromas of pepper, grapes, some wine, and funk. Flavors are tart pears, pepper, grapes, and some sweet malt. Not always a fan of this breweries beers, but this one was different than the rest, real nice beer not too sour/acidic, just the right amount of tartness to make it enjoyable, and had a clean finish.

Auburn hazy in color, no head. Sweet nose. Champaign carbonation. Alcohol heat on the back of my palate. Some light hops. Yeast notes, some bubblegum. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
