(Rating #9,600) Draft... Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival 2014... Pours murky and golden with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma features coriander and a light clove phenol. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The flavor is clean and trends a hint toward the bitter side of balance. Crisp, refreshing finish.

Serving: Draft at Birch & Barley. Hazy yellow gold pour. Light nose with a good bit of yeast and light grass notes. There is a light coriander note with the grass and yeast but overall I was hoping for something with a little more flavor. Light body with average carbonation. Whilst not bad, its not overly interesting either.

12oz pour at Red Apron in Union Market. Pours a cloudy, bright yellow with some frothy, lacing white head. Nose has a lot of spice and grass, overly yeasty, mildly medicinal, lots of pith. Flavor is like biting into an old lemon, pithy, tart, acidic, some clear medicine notes, yeast. Bitter finish. Not my favorite.

Draft @ the farmhouse taproom. Pours a hazy medium golden color with a finger of eggshell foam. Nose is murky earthy yeast, some honey, herbal spice and a hint of lemongrass. Palate is a bit abrasive, rubber, stale yeast, hay, grass... a bit under carbonated and just disjointed.

Unclear matt medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, pale malt, light to moderate yeasty, spicy, coriander notes, medicine notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp, medicine, hoppy, fruity, spicy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140430]

7oz on tap at Neons. Totally hazy kind of pale golden color. Pours with a bigger white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Good lemon citrus, light belgian yeast in the nose. Sort of peppery. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. Moderate tart taste, kind of zesty, moderate sweet. Solid, bright saison. A bit bigger bodied for the ABV, though. Not as easy-drinking as Victorys Swing, and much yeastier... A bit more complex, though. Interesting stuff. Price for a 10oz is listed as $9, though. I dont think Id be interested to try this again unless it was closer to $6..
