3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(bottle - corked & caged 750 ml) Deep copper color with a fizzy tan head. Aroma is sweet and tart with some strong Brett notes as well as some light fruit sweetness. Flavor starts off with a nice and funky Brett note and moves to a lightly sweet and yeasty middle. Finishes tart and funky with a light sour and fruity combination. Very fizzy with a sweetness that lingers for a bit.

750 ml bottle, aroma has grapes, berries, citrusy sweet smell to it. Pretty pleasant. Pours a muddy brown with a medium white head. Has a pretty good piney taste too it, grape, berries, cinnamin, with a bitter aftertaste. I was impressed. Decent palate, light mouthfeel with a medium warming ability. i liked this saison.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750 ml bottle courtesy of fishingnet or markwise. Thanks, guys! Pours a darker amber, brown notes cut through the glowing sunset, dulled of course, a big khaki head cakes and laces ok. Well hazed, aromas are fairly complex: dpicy yeastiness, fruity apple and pear esters, a touch of sweet cakiness with a slight citrusy tartness, orange zest, lemon, a slight peppery spice with bread, dough, and a lively spiciness, light floral hopping. Initial is medium bodied, a bit more substantial with caramel and toffee malts, toast, apple fruitiness with a citrusy bit, orange, peppery spice grows on the backend, a touch of orange, nice floral and spicy hopping, dry and earthy with grass, lighter sweetness than anticipated. The spiciness, more peppery as opposed to yeasty, is very pleasant on the palate. More citrus, apple, pear further in, a light bretty barnyard funk, light berry deeper sweetness. Very interesting saison that I found fairly complex, deeper and off the beaten path. A bit piney, mellow berry, dry florals. Something is weird about this beer still.. Just not sure.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml from Whole Foods behind CCB. Pours a cloudy amber...kinda ugly. Aroma is sweet citrus and pepper. Flavor is veggies, pepper, and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a little warmth. Reminds me of CCB Gruit a little.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Serving: 750 ml. bottle.
It pours a hazy deep orange color with a small, foamy, off-white head. The nose is fruity and sweet with a slightly off vegetal note and a whiff of vinegar. The flavor is a mix of candy sugar, belgian yeast, spice, clove, a slight tartness, peat, and an off medicinal note. Light to medium in body with high carbonation and a short finish. This one is okay, but I have a slight inkling that there may be an infection involved here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml from RomaniiteDominum on BA - thanks Stephen! Fairly vibrant pour, pale orange with a moderate cloudiness to it, and a thick, gritty-looking head that left good lacing in the tulip. I was surprised to note just how prominent the berries were in the nose, and they certainly overpowered the flowers and saison yeast. Nice mouthfeel, if a bit too much acidity. As with the nose, the flavor was fine but gave the impression that things hadn’t settled in yet, as it were, with the wild yeast, berry, and more conventional saison spice pulling in different directions.
