Brewed with Palmetto berries and whole Hibiscus flowers. House saison yeast strain along with a dose of wild yeast at bottling add to the complexity.

750ml bottle pours a translucent, copper amber with a soft, creamy, white head. Aroma is very Belgian, yeasty, sugary, apples. Flavor is the same, sweet, sugary, apple, pear, light spice. Full bodied, sweet finish.

750mL courtesy of Travlr via SeaBass. Pours a dirty/hazy orange with a thin beige head that has big bubbles/little retention/no lace. Sweet, musty, stale fruit aroma. Taste is boozy, spicy, dry, a little weird. Not much wild character.

Bottle courtesy of sebletitje at Cigar City, merci mon ami. Copper color, edge head. Very carbonated. Aroma of scotch and soda. Taste is malt, vanilla. Slight sour edge. Decent.

Pours clear copper color with huge white head. Toasted malts with spices and a floral aroma. Light malty flavor with spices and flowers. Medium body with lively carbonation.

Cha-ching! I knew that this was more of a saison, despite being called a dubbel at the tasting. Amber with a frothy head. Lots of fruit and bret in the aroma, with a lemon-like acidity. The flavor is dry, but maintains a candy-caramel sweetness as well, and has lots of tangy fruit flavors. Light bodied with high carbonation. This was good right now, but I think some time in the bottle might give this a lot of character

Sort of bland actually, some light citrus, caramel, toffee. Medium body is soft with gentle carbonation. The hibiscus flowers come through in the finish.

This beer pours beautifully, with pink and gold hues. The aroma is enticing, and with no disappointment. This is a beer I would gladly revisit anytime. This is an earthy, floral, farmhouse style ale that is a pleasure to drink.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of sour/decaying apple/banana skins, bile, alcohol, tea. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation, moderately alcoholic. As with the Saison Athene and Lectio Divina, somewhat dirty smelling and tasting, a bit reminiscent of reflux and rotting fruit. Not quite horrible, but really crude. Another drain pour from St. Somewhere, sadly.
