Pours a hazy ruby color with a bubbly champagne-like off-white head. Tart fruit on the nose, cherries mostly, an herbaly kind of spiciness, sweet caramel note, and a small hint of brett funk. Lots of dark fruit on the taste as well, a bit of the saison and brett funk, kind of flowery and herbal, slightly peppery, and slightly tart. It’s pretty low carbonation, which I think hurts this beer a little bit. Not super complex, but still rather enjoyable.

Bottle share at CBC Islington as ’Saint Somewhere Pays du Soleil’, 8%. Many thanks to Matteo. Dirty brown, hazy and opaque, foamy tan head. Aroma is vanilla, vinegar, marker pen. Body is light, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is vanilla, vinegar, marker pen, liquorice, green apple, tangy sour finish. Too harsh for me - there’s a chemical note on top of the acidity and the two things together make this hard going. Still, has some nice characteristics.

Grassy, fruity aromas with an effervescent light fruity flavor with a little funk going on. Damn fine beer.

Bottle shared at the big Dave tasting at craft beer Co Islington. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. Clouded dark orange amber coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is orange rind, Belgian yeast, bready malts, little spicy citrus, hint of sour. Flavour is composed of jammy orange, spicy citrus, bready malts, little musty airy stuff. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation, little sticky hop. Solid.

Bottle thanks to Matteo at Craft Islington. Gush! It pours murky brown with a thick, foamy light beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, funky, peach, sour apricot, dirty musty, floral notes and some creaminess. The taste is crisp, tart, funky, woody, dirty peach, apricot, alcohol, must and spice with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. High carbonation detracts from the overall experience. Decent anyhow.

Bottle from a trade with an awesome trade partner Weezel. Pours a clearish copper with an off white head and some spots of lacing. Nose is sweet, Belgian like, caramel, booze. Tastes sweet, a touch bitter, alcohol burn, a little tart. Numbness on the tongue.
