This beer pours beautifully, with pink and gold hues. The aroma is enticing, and with no disappointment. This is a beer I would gladly revisit anytime. This is an earthy, floral, farmhouse style ale that is a pleasure to drink.

On tap at red light red light. Like everything else from st somewhere it is pretty flawless. Floral aroma and taste with hibiscus. Dark amber color. Happy I got to have it on tap

Fruity tones with some floral citrus and breads. Pours muddy brown. Very delicious ale. Rated 9/11/10.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a large tan-colored head with good retention over a murky orange/amber body. The lacing on my shaker glass is loose and clumpy. The nose is soapy with strong yeast notes and a hint of sweet syrup. Flavors have a duality of sweetness and an herbal element that makes for an interesting drink. Caramel, plum, tangerine, and herbs combine with a warming burn of alcohol in the throat. The medium palate is well-balanced with lively carbonation. Yet another very pleasurable saison from a great Florida brewery.

Cork gave me whiplash yet not a sud lost. Pours a deep blood orange color with thin but solid off white head. Nose is spicy, yeasty, and citrusy, but combined fairly nicely imo...relaxing, even if the belgian yeast is dominant. Fizzy mouthfeel..plasticy natured yeast character drives the flavors...but in a very good way...I’ve really liked this brewery’s house character from everything I’ve tried...true craftsmanship here I think. Damn good stuff

hazy copper, dense beige head, ^co2, creamy full body.

aroma: caramel malt, straw, stale hops.

taste: yeasty/bready T1; ^floral, fruity esters, acidity T2; caramelized sugar, stale hops, alchl warmth T3.

the floral complexity makes for interesting pairings. i had this with some smoked ribs and it was perfect. the fruitiness and floral character really latched onto to sweetness of the sauce and complimented the pork, while the high carbonation cut through the heaviness.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2013 Burnt orange color with a considerable, long lasting head. Sweet, fruity aroma -- apples, white grape, fresh cherries, candy. Taste is simultaneously sweet and sour, somewhat sticky, like a less sweet sour cherry or cream soda. Pleasantly tart lingering aftertaste. Nice.

I know this brewery has a lot of variability when it comes to bottles, but I guess I got one of the good ones. I picked a bottle at the Wine & Cheese Place in St. Louis that was itching to have its cork popped. Turned out this was dated 2009 . The cork popped loudly but the beer did not gush out. Poured beautifully with a fiery orange, amber color. Head is medium large and long lasting. Aroma hits you with brett, wild and citrusy. Then there is fruity biscuit malt. Well attenuated with a sweet perception but no sugary mess about. Similar in flavor, easy drinking but full of flavor. For me, this was a bretty Biere de Garde. I loved it. Mouthfeel was good, not overly carbonated but felt strongly enough to fit in line with the rest of the beer. Could not pick out the adjuncts specifically but these beers always have a lot going on with them. When St. Somewhere is on they are really on. But 11 bucks is a large price to keep taking the chance.

22 ounce handbottle ??? from Bierkraft in NYC by way of goryskewych. Thanks George! Pours a dark hazy copper color with a medium head. Fair head retention and lacing. Tart, fruity aroma with notes of peach, plum, berries, apple, banana, spicy herbal and floral notes. Earthy with toffee malts in the finish and a bit of alcohol warmth. Taste is full of dry, tart berry notes. Almost cassis like, though I assume that is the palmetto. Also notes of apple, peach and herbal/floral notes. Dry and tart throughout. Slight alcohol warmth. Smooth, med-full bodied. Very nice beer.
