Papsoe (10498), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 10, 2008 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy golden amber with plenty of tiny impurities. Aroma of caramel and surprisingly also astringent Brett. Full-bodied, fruity with a whiff of caramel. Dry and somewhat astringent finish. 230808 yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 30, 2008 Bottle, 75cl corked, shared by Brugmansia. When opened, the beer tried to escape the bottle slowly, and left a dark golden body with microfloaties and an off-white head of reasonable size but with little retention. Dusty, sour and lemony on the nose, but not in an unpleasant way. The flavor was dusty, sour and lemony too, with some spicyness and bitterness. Dry, sourish and slightly astringent in the mouth, finishing with some bitterness. Sure gone bad, but still drinkable in small amounts. (080823) Maria (4418), Thisted, Denmark Sep 15, 2008 TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Brugmansia. It’s unclear, dark orange and the head is creamy. Both aroma and flavour has unpleasant notes of barnyard and sewer – this is clearly infected. faroeviking (4414), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Sep 11, 2008 Botella. Hazy amber. Yeasty bit sweet mild fruity aroma. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour has a a mild sour sweetness with yeast and some malt along a soft bitterness. Bit infected- plovmand (676), Helsinge, Denmark Aug 27, 2008 Bottle at Ulfborg RB tasting. Thanks Brugmansia. THe beer is hazy amber with small bubbly head. Aroma of yeast and fruit but also some brett from an infection. Flavour is sour but spicy. Too bad this one was infected.
