BoBoChamp (635), Gent, Belgium Jul 28, 2008 75cl, exclusive brewery, from Geers Oostakker, complex brew, cloudy, good head, nice honey ale JorisPPattyn (4275), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 12, 2007 Fully hazy orange beer with a huge, dense cream-coloured head. Perfumey, pine forest, cypress, earthy, a touch of Brett, lactic acid (but again only a tad), spices (ginger, lavender,...) Dry, extremely spicy flavour, ending quite bitter. Seems completely fermented out, more than usual in a honey beer. Esters, yeast-determined, and again Bretts, IMO, though pretty little acids within the taste. Medicinal, more than a bit. Bit aggressive MF, dry, metallic in the end even. ABV given seems to be on the low side, seems more in reality. Very spicy, though no spices added (according to the label!). Weird, but not bad.
