330ml bottle [4.3% abv]. Ruby red glowing, quasi black colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, a nuttily touch. Taste has minimally tart and minimally bitter, citrusy and grassy hoppy overtones, dry, roasty dark malty background, a nuttily touch. Nice hoppy Stout with resemblance to a Black IPA.

Bière noire. Mousse brune très épaisse et onctueuse. Bonne persistance. Nez fruité, fruits rouges. Entrée de bouche à l’opposée de l’odeur, bien torréfiée et arrière goût de café très agréable. Fin de bouche sèche. Bière surprenante et très bonne.

Tasted at Richement Bière 2014. Pours a dark brown / light black colour with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, and hops. Soft carbonation and thin body, more watery than I was thinking. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, quite dry. Overall, a nice beer. Not very remarkable, though.

Sample from a 75 cl bottle. Pours jetblack with a small tan head. Lots of burnt malts and figs on the nose. Don't get the hoppiness in the taste. Figs, raisins and some chocolate.

33cl bottle. Pours near black with a dark brown head. Lots of chocolate, cocoa at first, some roastedness and maybe some oatmeal. Inviting aroma really. Taste then, quite similar with chocolate being most evident, espresso notes as it warms up a little. Roasted and dry finish. Can’t really detect the Citra here, but you sure know it is well hopped. For this abv, this is quite marvellous. Thumbs up!
