UPDATED: DEC 12, 2013 Sampled @ Borefts 2013 from bottle thanks to Illuvatarmilan. Pitch black color, small brown head. Smell and taste malts, toasted malts, dried fruits, some bitter. Hard to describe. Not bad at all though.

Good, reasonably stable, thick-set, dirty cream-coloured head over virtually black beer, if with a reddish sheen. Heavy, aromatic nose with old wood, dark chocolate and an alcoholpunch with deliberate spirit (Bourbon, whisky)character. Superbly "praliné", but with full chocolate. Ashy, dry, roasted malt/stoutflavour with just a hint of alcoholsweetness retronasal. Bit of sweat, paprika, and of course, chocolate, ultra-dry but for the alcohol. Warming up, I seem to get some coriander. Surprisingly thin for its stamina and ABV. Probably very attenuated. This is a dry stout, on the verge of an I.S., and to my tastebuds, barel-aged.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie April 2011 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Camping Igueldo, Igueldo Nr San Sebastian, Basque Country, Northern Spain 04.07.11 Pours murky brown with tan head that is liberally dotted with specks of yeast. Malty on the nose but also quite beefy bit like an oxo cube has been crumbled into this. Full flavoured beer with elements of chocolate, some tobacco, loads of yeast and some fruit. Really likeable beer, I’m well into this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.7

Courtesy of SHIG. Pours hazy opaque amber with copper hues and tan head. The aroma is earthy, spicy, roast and pine mixing together with mild grapefruit and black tea. The taste is similar with a pleasing mix of roasted malts, earthiness and malts to go along with a tasty hop bill like pine and citrus. Yum!

Bottle at Delirium. Pitch black with a thick, fine, low brown head. Nose of chocolate, coffee, berries. A rather fruity, slightly phenolic stout. Light body, thin. Big chocolate and burnt coffee flavor, a bit of smoke, orange. Nice.

Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, black rye bread and a dry finish with a generous roasty bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Well made and tasty stout. Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a hazy brownish-red color with a tan head. The aroma is brown sugar, toffee and some dark fruit. The flavor is slightly more complex. I get some iced tea notes, as well as some brown sugar, Belgian yeast, cherries and some earthy and piney hops notes. There is very little bitterness from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
