COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Cloudy orange, large white head. Aroma hops, sourdough bread. Quite full body for this type of beer. Taste follows aroma, leaving long hoppy finish. In a way quite similar to Taras Boulba, one of my Belgian favourites. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle, shared with my dad @ Café Frape, Maastricht. Almost clear blonde color. Big, dense white head with good retention, like whipped cream. Aroma’s of flowery hops, herbs, fruity. Retronasal it’s rather yeasty and hoppy and I even sense a bit of cork (?). Flavor is light sweet, fruity with a hint of bitterness. Medium bodied (fuller than expected from a 5.5% beer). Rather long finish, a bit ashy (? (again)) and eventually a good firm bitterness.

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours murky amber with small white head. Refreshing, dry-as-a-bone saison.

Yellow with bright white head. Some citrus in the aroma. Also a certain grassy smell that is also present in the taste.

Bottle from Elie. Many thanks. Blond colour, white foam. Refreshing and hoppy. Light malty. Crispy and easy drinkable. Good!

330 ml bottle. BB S/15. From saveur-biere.com.
Hazy mid-brown colour with a tiny off-white head. Fruity and perfumy hops, mild bitterness, sweetness, cardboard dryness and dryish malt in the aroma. Yeast, grassy hops, cardboard dryness and dryish malt in the flavour. A bit watery.

75cl bottle from Cora Messancy Belgium - opened at home. Pours light yellow semi-hazy with very small head. Hoppy scent with lemon. Taste likewise with fresh hops and lemon/citrus, good carbonation. Very refreshing when chilled in fridge. Nice beer not too strong for a Belgian (5.5%)

Blonde session ale with sensual label but rather neutral aroma of grassy hops, lemon zest, sour apple, hay and young cheese; restrained fruity taste, smooth and light in the malt department, some spicy notes, pretty long bitter finish - but I doubt if this should be classified as an English-style bitter, as has apparently been done here.
