Poured a copper brown with a thin tan head. The nose is a bit caramel and hops. The body is medium, carbon fine & texture thin. The taste is a bit sweet. Palate is caramel malt, bitter metallic hops, belgium yeast. B@H

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A sparkling dark brown beer spoiled by yeast sediments ; medium beige head ; medium retention. Roasty toffee aroma, spice, red berries (blackberry, blackcurrant), herb. Medium sweet, round and warming, light dry bitter refreshing. Medium body and texture, average carbonation, toffee spicy medium lasting finish. Overall, a delicious fruity toffee toasty belgian ale ; highly drinkable.

Lots of foam when pouring. Pleasant aroma with resin, sweet fruity tones and hayish malt. Foamy palate. Flavour has grapefruity hops, biscuity malt, resin and mild mineral tones. The first sips were nice but then this starts to feel too hayish.

Clear red amber beer, creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit sweet, caramel, dried fruits, raisins. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, malty, sourish touch, some citrus, hoppy, spicy, some liquorish. Aftertaste: hoppy, dry, some caramel, not sweet though!

(33 cl bottle from Carrefour Express in Galeries Ravenstein; BBD: November 2016) Pours a cloudy amber with two finger, tan head. Good retention and lace. Aroma has notes of toffee and smoke with a doughy hint. Oily texture, medium carbonaion, medium body with a, astringent wooden driness in the finish. Flavour has aroma notes and little sweetness. Doesn’t seem entirely harmonic to my taste.

Draught wat Moeder SG. It pours clear deep amber/brown with a decent off-white head. The nose is sweet, doughy, fruit cake, dried fruits, candy, cereal and toasty grain. The taste is bitter-sweet, doughy, brown bread, muffin, musty, toasty brown sugar, candy, booze and wood with a pretty dry finish. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Not overly drinkable. OK.
