Draft at the Birch. Much darker than I’d anticipated, fairly solid orange. The aroma is full-on sour, also completely unexpected. But it drinks with a funky farmhouse character that’s all up front; virtually nothing remains in the oddly watery finish. (#4820, 11/10/2012)

Bottle shared by Mortlach in Rome-Italy, many thanks. Amber pour, gush as it was open. Funky unpleasant notes of infection. Mouth: impossible to drink. Infection all the way. Bummer!

330ml bottle shared with ippopotamo36 and luttonm. Pours amber, cloudy, big off-white foam. Gushing. Aroma is terrible, dirty water, sewer, bubblegum. Flavour... I don’t know what to write because I only had a sip. Infected.

330ml bottle shared by Thomas @Bier mit Stil 2: Saison, Bierhandlung. Aroma in the beginning is kind of dirty maybe like rotten fruit, then the ugly curtain raises and there is wheat, yeast and sour green apples together with some sourness. Taste is sour green apples with slight spices, that finishes dry and slightly bitter. Edgy and rough but good.

Clear golden with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma of soy sauce, apple and paper. Taste of cardboard, cider with a bitter finish
Ok, but past its prime

Poured from a 1995 750 ml bottle. This is very old and oxidized. Caramel notes, funky, citrusy. Past its prime.

Oranjekleurig bier met witte schuimkraag die snel wegebt. Zeer fruitig aroma. Geuren en smaken van perzik, abrikoos, nectarine, gele pruimen. Niet slecht maar niet 100 % mijn ding.

Bottle (33cl) bought at Kuva Dranken in Kinrooi, Belgium. Great aroma- bready, very yeasty, spicy but not exaggerated. Taste is smooth, silky. Just yummy. Would go very well with cheese (I think...).
