COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional saison style now made only at Blaugies, using barley and spelt ("epeautre"), a primitive strain of wheat.

Rather light aroma is typical to saison: wheat, yeast and fruits. Flavour is also light with yeast, wheat and some peach. Easy to drink but nothing special really.

In bottiglia al Moeder, carbonatissima e molto "granosa" per la presenza del farro, quasi una blanche, non mi ha fatto impazzire

75 cl bottle. Hazy golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of lemon peel, hay, animals. Taste is full bodied, slightly funky farmhouse. Nice.

Countbeer (1686) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2011
Bottle: Big lively off white head, disappears quick, on top of a hazy orange colored beer with some small chuncks floating through the beer. Smell fruit, orange, peach, tangerine, yeast, malt and a hint of wood. Taste is spicy with yeast, fruit, bitter, hint of alcohol, some hops, malts, herbs, light dry. Warm fruity malty (dirty bitter) aftertaste. Low carbo, tingly light sharp mouthfeel, medium body and light watery body.

750mL corked bottle poured pale golden into my goblet with a massive white head which settled quite quickly with virtually no lacing. Aroma is fruity with some yeast and grains. Taste is sweet and yeast at first with some hops and spice in the finish. An enjoyable east to drink beer.

Elwood (1834) - Between a rock and a hard place, Virginia, USA - AUG 12, 2011
Serving: 750 ml. bottle from Fireworks. It pours a hazy yellow brown with a rocky white head. The nose has a bit of cellar character with notes of yeast, grass, and grain. The flavor is there then gone, erased by over carbonation. There are some floral notes, grass, and a touch of coriander. The depth isn’t a good as I was hoping it would be. Light in body. Good but not great.

Almost clear golden with a white head. This beer is very fruity with nice complexity. It is also funky and slightly soapy. Just a hint of pepper. The after taste is dry grapes. Feel is fizzy. A fun beer to sample.
