Bottle, Pig’s Ear Festival, London: Clear to slightly hazy gold with a large head. Lovely floral rubber aroma (it’s better than it sounds) that is followed by a gently tart barnyard, slightly wild chord. In the mouth it is pretty restrained, but some spice flavours bring things along. This was really nice but I found myself wanting a bit more from it.

Oct 11, 2008 750mL Bottle. Noses in strong fresh fall apple skin, flesh and juice. Bright and acidic. So apple, so fresh, so bright. Pours a heavily clouded deep orange, with a nice fresh white head. Flavor is calmer, but still a distinct, wonderful fresh apple palate. Crisp, sharp and juicy. Some older hops slide in fast for a bit of discordance. Palate is airy, tart and slightly acidic. Balanced, fresh and beautiful. What a wonderful beer, sans the dirty, dusty cellar musty old celery seed hop scourge. The front end of this beer is stellar.

Oct 6, 2008 A 0.75L bottle shared with Mirjukka at Vastarannan Kiiski. A large head. Quite foamy. Hazy pale yellow colour. Mild soft taste. Mild hoppiness. Some hints of peaches in the taste.

Aug 22, 2008 Bottle 37.5. Hazy yellow color. Huge head with plenty of yeasty and spicey notes in the aroma. Acid and some fruity and spicey notes can be found flavorwise. Pretty good.
